New features iPhone 8 Lets get this straight. What sexy features come with this beauty of a phone? Well lets start with the backside. She has a glass back. “Glass?” you ask, “but why?.” “Doesn’t that mean it will break easier?” Well, yes it does. However, Apple didn’t design it like this all Willy Nilly with no thought of the clumsy customer. Their engineers had sound reasoning behind this drastic decision. And that reason is wireless charging. A glass back is necessary so that the phone can charge wirelessly. If the phone had the same all aluminum back then it wouldn’t have this glorious feature. So is wireless charging that cool? You better believe it bucko. Imagine a future when every electronic device we have at home can charge our phone. Instead of plugging a charging wire into your iPhone, you just set your phone on a lamp, or the center console in your car. And bada boom, it is charging! Yes baby, the future is coming and it is going to be electric(sorry, not sorry for the pun).
Headphone Jack Still miss your headphone jack. Well let me tell you something, Jack aint coming back. The headphone jack is a thing of the past, and Apple only forges one way(hint, forward). So get used to dongles or better yet, bluetooth headphones.
True Tone Display upgrade. True Tone. True tone is sort of like auto-brightness, but instead of adjusting the brightness of your phone, it switches up the coloring to match the ambient lighting. This will give your screen the best appearance all the time. A word of caution! If you use an aftermarket screen, the True Tone will be disabled. It will be gone and you will probably never get it back again. So if you want to keep the True Tone then use and OEM quality screen for your iPhone 8 repair.
Water resistance The iPhone 8 has the same water resistance as the iPhone 7. And no we still don’t recommend submerging your cell phone. Its just not worth the risk. Apple won’t warranty it if it is only 1 day old. So why risk it? Also, once your iPhone 8 has been repaired, it will lose the water resistance. This is because we have to break the factory seal to open up the phone. So please please keep in mind, to not submerge your phone once it has been replaced.
